Phantom Channel is a new net label specializing in non-commercial, uncompromising ambient music. Phantom Channel Presents: Part 1 is what appears to be the first of a series meant to spotlight their artists. The music is minimalist, meditative and, for the most part, on the slightly disquieting side. While the seven tracks feature different artists, each work segues into the next soundscape offering a continual listening experience and making it a good album for deep relaxation. This is a nice debut of a promising netlabel.
