ZombieOper is the creation of Brazilian artists, Diego Medina and Desirée Marantes — aka Senador Medinha and Seridée Mondevac. It’s a rock opera about zombies vs humans in which zombies build a spaceship and go searching for more brains in other planets. Aaahaa! Unusual plot line aside, the music is really well done, covering a number of different musical styles — from violin filled lullabies to extreme metal — and featuring contributions from guest artists of the caliber of Gruff Rhys from the band Super Furry Animals and Kassin from Brazilian experimental band, +2.
