lsd march
LSD March's repertoire might be limited, the same song might make it's way onto many different albums, but they vary so much from one version to the other that they're barely recognizable each time.Shindara Jigoku finds the trio in great form, blasting out their classics in their usual sloppy way. The fuzz is as present as ever. But through all the mess and the drumming that sounds like hits to cardboard boxes, they manage to create a real sense of drama. The Lamp - Tomorrow's Godard, a favorite of mine, sounds very powerful here; the tune is very sorrowful. Clepsydra Flames sounds particularly good on here. I found it irresistible to tap my feet to the guitar rhythm...
